Collider: Had you been auditioning for a bunch of different shows, or were you focused specifically on Cult?

Robert Knepper: It was pilot season. There’s also a show I ended up doing, as well. I’m recurring on Frank Darabont’s show, which was called L.A. Noir, and it got picked up. I don’t know what it’s called now. I heard they were changing the name of it. That’s shooting in L.A., and I really wanted to get that to be close to my boy. I wanted to play Chief Parker, who’s the cop who becomes the Police Chief of L.A. Frank said, “No, I love you and want you on the show, but I see you as this other character.” I loved that and Cult.

Collider: What’s next for you?

Milo Ventimiglia: It’s been a busy year. I’ve got Kiss of the Damned coming out on May 2nd. I’ve got Grown Ups 2 coming out this summer. I’ve got Killing Season with [Robert] DeNiro and [John] Travolta coming out in the fall. And then, hopefully, Grace of Monaco, the one I just shot with Nicole Kidman and Tim Roth in Europe, comes out in December. And I’m so excited to get back to L.A. Noir. That’s going to be a blast to shoot. That’s going to be so much fun. The pilot was awesome! The pilot was the best. But, to actually strap that suit on and play a little bit more is going to be so much fun. I’ve just had my head down and I’ve been working, like everybody else, and I’m going to keep doing that.

Ed Burns To Play Bugsy Siegel

Ed Burns has been tapped to play notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel.After moving from the East Coast to California, Siegel quickly established himself as the Los Angeles mob leader in the late 1930s and early 1940s, with Cohen as his chief lieutenant. Siegel also was a Hollywood fixture, throwing lavish parties for Tinseltown’s biggest names.
